About the job
Are you an experienced machinist with a passion for engineering and a hands-on mentality? Do you have experience operating heavy machinery and are not afraid to get your hands dirty? Then we are looking for you! Join our team and play a key role in sorting and processing various raw materials and waste streams.
Some of your duties include:
- You will be involved in sorting and transferring various raw materials and waste streams, using a sorting crane.
- You will take in raw materials and waste streams, categorise them accurately, and load and unload trucks.
- You ensure the supply and removal of flows to and from various plants.
- You will regularly work on the sorting line, spray out containers in the car wash and contribute to the maintenance of plant and machinery to keep everything running smoothly.
- The work requires a hands-on mentality-you are not afraid to work with your hands and understand that the work might be a bit dirty, but that does not stop you.
- You work with industrial residues, production waste and PMD, but not household residual waste.
Your profile
- You can work well independently, but also know how to work effectively in a team. You understand that working together is essential to get work done.
- You have a solid dose of perseverance, enthusiasm, and adapt easily to changing circumstances.
- You have the motivation to learn and improve yourself. You love learning new things and are not shy about taking on challenges.
- Experience driving a tyre crane, grader clamp and wheel loader is necessary. You know exactly how to operate these machines safely and effectively.
- You are practical and willing to do physical work. Dirty work is not a problem for you; you see it as an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe working environment.
