About the job
We are looking for a driven Facility Manager to manage the real estate portfolio in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. With more than 40 sites in a dynamic environment, we need someone capable of taking our real estate and technical policies to the next level.
Some of your duties include:
- Manage and streamline facilities processes, including:
- Set up an efficient ticketing system for maintenance requests.
- Finding reliable maintenance workers.
- Ensuring ad hoc solutions and keeping in mind budgets.
- Advising management on property management, technical installations and safety standards.
- Leading internal construction and renovation projects.
- Develop multi-year maintenance plans according to the latest safety standards.
- Directing suppliers and managing maintenance contracts.
- Monitor cost prices and budgets for all facility activities.
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, to align systems and processes.
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience in building management or similar technical position.
- Strong technical background, specifically in the field of energy supplies and sanitary installations.
- Experience in cost price management and budget management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with external parties and suppliers.
- Communication strong, both internally and externally.
- Fluent in Dutch and French; German is a strong plus.
