About the job
As a lorry driver, you will be responsible for transporting material to or from the sites, adhering to quality procedures, safety regulations
and legal provisions in order to carry out the operations and activities related to the collection, delivery and transport of loads.
Some of your duties include:
- Loading and unloading the truck, possibly by working yourself with crane, wheel loader, loading shovel, etc.
- Checking freight and necessary documentation and records
- Correct completion of daily reports (daily)
- Checking goods against the loading list
- Careful handling of materials and goods
- Checking the truck for defects
- Handling the rides as scheduled
- Liaise with site planning
- Helping out at the shipyard
Your profile
- Driving licence C / CE
- Relevant experience as a truck driver is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Dutch language
- Valid VCA certificate or willing to obtain one
- Good physical condition
