About the job
APK Group is currently looking for an Internal Auditor.
As an internal auditor, you will analyse the various processes and evaluate financial and operational business activities within APK Group from an independent position.
The internal auditor will provide relevant input in the design of the processes and will audit the organisation, processes and internal reports, among other things. He/she also audits governance, working conditions, safety and environment.
You report in dotted line to the Group CEO and the Chief Legal Officer, as well as to (the chairman of) the Audit & Risk Committee and chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Some of your duties include:
- Establish goal, focus, deadline, budget and schedule for the audit
- Conducting interviews with staff members
- Consult laws and regulations surrounding audit focus
- Work processes related to the subject of observation and analysis
- Studying company documents
- Assess risks and quality of information processing
- Analyse audit results
- Preparation of reports with practical recommendations and advice that help improve business processes
- Monitoring the implementation of the proposed improvement actions
- Regularly travelling abroad (Netherlands and Germany)
Your profile
- Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 6 - 8 years' experience, of which preferably 3 years at the big four and 3 years as an internal auditor at corporate level.
- Good knowledge of NL + FR, knowledge D + E is a plus.
- In possession of driving licence B.
