Warehouse assistant
About the job
As a warehouse employee, you will be responsible for employees' working equipment. You ensure the correct ordering and distribution of goods, materials and machines and you are the manager of the warehouse in order to ensure the receipt, storage, stock management, preparation of orders and shipment of goods, products, raw materials,....
Some of your duties include:
- checking incoming goods
- you are responsible for administration
- you prepare orders for transport/shipment
- you ensure that goods are correctly registered in the system
- you have a good overview of stock and ensure that products are replenished on time
- you are responsible for the order and tidiness of the warehouse
Your profile
- Several years of experience in logistics is a plus
- A forklift certificate is a plus
- You are fluent with the PC and have mastered basic software packages
- A healthy sense of responsibility
- You can work and report in an orderly and well-organised manner
- You have a driving licence B
